We have been learning about plants, including what they need to grow! In an experiment we started last week, we left some of our radish seeds out in the sun to grow and we covered some with tinfoil. Ask your child what we discovered!
Your child is bringing home a 2021 flipbook that we have been working on. Some kids completed them today and some still have some work to do. All of them are coming home today. If your child did not finish, he/she can finish at home! These do not need to be returned to school. Tomorrow is our spelling test for this week. I was VERY impressed with the test scores last week! Thanks for taking time to study with your child! Upcoming dates to remember:

Your child will be bringing home a SNOW DAY FOLDER today. The items in this folder will be used in case we have an at home learning day because of bad weather. Please keep everything in this folder and keep it in a handy place for if/when it is needed. If your child shares time between two houses, I have sent folders for both homes.

REMINDER: We do not have working water fountains in the school, but we do have a water refill station available. Please send a water bottle to school with your child. We have cups available, however we have been going through A LOT of cups.

It was SO WONDERFUL having your kids back in the classroom this week! It just wasn't the same without them here! We got right back into the swing of things (and took a little time for sledding too).
Tomorrow will be our first Learning at Home Friday. The kids brought home the following items:
We will start tomorrow morning at 8:15 a.m. on Google Meet. The blue sheet in your child's Friday Folder shows our schedule for the day on the top and has a checklist of activities to complete on the bottom. All paper activities should be posted on Seesaw when completed. As always, please let me know if you have any questions! Today your child is bringing home A LOT of stuff in preparation for Learning at Home. It would be best if you could help your child find a designated place at home to keep these items. Everything should be returned to school at the end of distance learning, so this will help when we transition back into the classroom. Watch your email in the next couple of days for more information on what Learning at Home will look like. As always, please let me know if you have any questions!
